What Is Diflucan? Diflucan ( fluconazole ) is an orally administered prescription drug used to treat and prevent various fungal infections in adults and children, including thrush (oral) and vaginal yeast infections resulting from differing types of naturally occurring Candida fungus. LONDON, Aug 10 (Reuters) - Supplies of a vaccine to prevent the deadly rotavirus infection in children have either run out in Kenya, Tanzania, Senegal and Cameroon or are close to doing so, officials close to the roll-out told Reuters, after disruptions at drugmaker GSK.
